Elon Musk becomes director of Twitter

The world’s most wanted billionaire, Elon Musk, who became the most important shareholder by buying nearly 3 billion worth of shares within the social media company Twitter, are going to be nominated to the board of directors of Twitter.

Tesla chief Elon Musk, who bought a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter, are going to be nominated on Twitter’s board, the corporate said on Tuesday.

With the nomination, Elon Musk’s try to take over the Twitter company are going to be stopped immediately. Some analysts have suggested that billionaire Musk could also be getting to buy Twitter.

With Twitter becoming a member of the board of directors, Musk will not be able to buy over 14.9 percent of the company’s common shares.

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal tweeted about Musk’s nomination: “We are excited to announce that Elon Musk isn’t being nominated to our board. he’s also a patient believer and a fierce critic of the services we want on Twitter. it’ll make us stronger within the long term.

Elon Musk also tweeted in response to Parag Agrawal’s tweet. “I anticipate to working with Pollen and therefore the Twitter board to form significant improvements to Twitter within the coming months,” he wrote.

Elon Musk, a self-proclaimed meliorist, is critical of social media platforms and their policies. He recently conducted a poll on Twitter on whether Twitter adhered to the principle of freedom of speech.

After buying 73.5 million shares of Twitter and becoming the most important shareholder, he posted another poll on Twitter on Monday. during which he questioned whether it absolutely was necessary to place the much awaited Edit button on Twitter.
