Congress general secretary Gagan’s anger: Oli should take responsibility for wasted five years’

Kathmandu. General Secretary of the Nepali Congress Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that the responsibility of the five years since the local elections of 2074 BS has been wasted by the then leadership.

Speaking at a program on ‘Role of District Liaison Committees in Local Level Elections’ organized by the Nepali Congress Kathmandu District Liaison Coordinating Committee here today, he said the country and people’s time was wasted when the party led by them for five years left Nalgi in the middle.

“Therefore, we have come to the people with a letter of intent to fulfill the responsibility of the Congress for the next five years. In the next five years, if we do not fulfill the responsibility, bring it down. In the next five years, the Congress will fully adhere to good governance, accountability and transparency. .

He also instructed the leaders and cadres who are contesting the election on behalf of the party not to want to win the election by spending money from the local government. General Secretary Thapa also informed that the program has been prepared under the direction of party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the prime minister.

Chairman of the main opposition party UML KP Sharma Oli said in response to the remarks, “The manifesto has challenged the lies of Oli, who is also a former prime minister.” He remarked that it was difficult to digest the truth as UML Chairman Oli used to listen only to praise. Stating that he was angry that Oli’s lies were exposed in the manifesto, Thapa advised him to take care of the old man’s body.

Mentioning that Vutavar is proud of the prosperity of former Prime Minister Oli, he said that he was also the coordinator of the Manifesto Making Committee with a sense of patriotism from the ground up.
